I love this band *blows kisses* I have been into Garbage for 12 years now. I have met all of the members of the band. Talked even in length with them at after parties. I own all 5 CD's plus the old VHS from the 90's, and the new dvd. I have no clue how many bootleg shows I own, plus videos from around the world on tour and TV shows. Can you tell I am a Garbage fan? If not, I run the Garbage Message Board. Yeah, the one the band goes to to find out want the fans think, the one their management wishs they could control. But can't. I started it when their offical one went down the tubes, and the loyal fans all jumped onto mine. Now 7 years later, and two years after the band went on hiatis. It is still active. garbage.proboards.com

Jeremy, you know how I feel about them first hand huh. BTW, for those who didn't know. Jeremy had been a Garbage board member for 2 and a half years now. He actually posts once in a blue moon too. But mostly a lurker *eyes him with the post or die look*

I saw that on my other board when it first came out. They do justice to the song. Thanks for the reminder about them doing it. At least they are back in the studio after a 5 year hiatis. New Garbage this year. *does happy dance*

Yes! That's great news they're back in the studio. Beautiful Garbage was a disappointment imo but they were back on form with Bleed Like Me.

Beautiful Garbage was a disappointment to a lot of Garbage fans. Not only the album, but Shirley hacking off her hair and going punk butch blonde for the tour. It has a couple good songs, but is their weakest album in my opinion.

SSPU, and Garbage are intertwined right now through Dangerbird, and QPrime managenment. Well at least Shirley, Butch, and Shirley's husand Billy Bush. They are all here in LA, and Butch, and Billy are working on QPrime projects. One is Muse, and also the duo worked on Against Me!'s latest album too. Shirley introduced SSPU at the Pablove foundation gig a bit ago. They didn't perform the last one, but Shirley did. Pablove was founded by Dangerbird's founder. So the two bands are basically in the same bed. I actually attended the last concert garbage ever did at another charity function for cancer. That was the Beat it Wally event in Glendale. Yes, I was front row center for that one. The tickets were steep, but for a good cause. Sheryl Crow, Jackson Browne, were some of the notables beside Garbage. That was for Butch's friend Wally, who didn't have the money for treatments. So his friends made this gig to help pay for his treatments.
