You didn't put in the venue though, I went in and put that in for you. Tempe, AZ is at Marquee Theatre on July 17th. Looks like that presale is going on now right here: tix.concertmaps.com/silversunpickups/Presales for Vegas, Austin, Salt Lake City, Seattle, and San Diego are sold out! (I guess they have been idk)

I was in a hurry while on lunch, and only had one browser window open. Mac sucks like that. You can only have one open unless you get a link that opens in a new page. So I got the date down and was going to add the venue now. But you got to it first.ß

I have an extra ticket for tomorrows show, and every one of my friends has prior commitments. They all ask how I got tickets too. Like duh, I sat at the computer with my finger poised when the time hit for the sales. WTF. This friend pulled out because she was on the rag. What kind of excuse is that for missing a great concert? Oh well, got rid of one of the two tix I got for her and her friend, now got the orphan ticket left to give away. I am not going to throw it away, someone will use it. It cost $95, plus another $40 for the VIP lounge access.

Always good to hear they are adding shows. I wonder how many new songs they have been working on their downtime during the tour. I went on a nationwide tour before. There is a lot of downtime. The hurry up and wait syndrome. You rush to the venue, your rush to get ready, and then you wait for show time. Not to mention the long tour bus rides through the middle of no where.

They've said before that they don't write on the road, if that's what you're talking about. So I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet.

How could they not write on the road? They've been touring for Swoon for 18 months. You can't tell me that not a single lyric, or guitar riff hasn't come to mind over that time.

I know, I thought the same thing. But I guess it's different for everyone. They've said that road life isn't "inspiring" to them, or something like that. But I guess that's working for them because they just keep getting better with every record...
